I recently moved into this beautiful rural community in Southwest Virginia. I found it extremely difficult finding a house that met many of the features I wanted. As a result, I decided to build a house and was able to find and purchase a lot with a fantastic view. My initial concern was the length of time it may take to start and complete the construction of a new home as I was living in a very small apartment. I asked around and without a doubt the resounding recommendation was to use Travis Hackworth and his crews and team at Twin Enterprises. I met with Travis and I found him to be very approachable, organized and willing to take on another construction project. He first recommended that I provide him with a house design. I located one that appealed to me, but was smaller than I wanted. Travis was able to expand the dimensions of the house and redesign some features to include his signature ceilings simply by meeting with me and discussing the options that were possible. We quickly forged a very effective working relationship. We met on a routine basis and repeated the same decision process at critical points during construction – Travis identified the options and I would base a decision on my wants and needs. The house was completed within six months from the start. I thought this was exception as we started the construction in January and faced the prospect of weather related delays. I attribute Twin Enterprises’ success in completing this project in a timely manner to Travis’ relationship with the various crews that he used throughout the project. The efficiency of their work and their respect and loyalty to Twin Enterprises is a testament to Travis’ management and leadership styles. I have comfortably lived in my home for two years. I am now part of the following who can highly recommend Twin Enterprise if you are interested in quality construction.
